OVERVIEW

Elevating structure without increasing noise

NIOD had credibility, but not clarity. As DECIEM’s most advanced skincare brand, its formulations were highly technical and unfamiliar. Customers who discovered the brand were intrigued, but often unsure where to begin.

The opportunity was to preserve NIOD’s authority while making the experience more intuitive and commercially effective.

THE CHALLENGE

Advanced products lacked structured discovery

Scientific messaging dominated the experience. Product categories were abstract. The site required a higher level of prior knowledge than most users had.

The challenge was to make the brand feel structured, premium, and approachable while maintaining its intellectual depth.

Clear hierarchy for intentional discovery

We evolved NIOD’s digital foundation holistically, refining the global design system and core commerce experience to better reflect its clinical authority.

Navigation, hierarchy, and discovery were restructured to create a more intentional and cohesive journey across touchpoints.
